A new in-cab electronic control system features a color touchscreen that provides an automated wrapping process and access to real-time field statistics. .
Ground bracing helps steady the load while the bale discharge system pivots up to cradle the bale and releases it at a low drop point which minimizes damage to the package.
A durable loading arm guides and positions the bale gentle onto the wrapping table. While wrapping, the SBW8500 can carry a second bale on the loading arm during the wrapping process for increased operating efficiency. The loading arm can then be quickly folded for transport.
As soon as the wrapping table tips backwards, the active bale discharge system is triggered. As the finished bale is being lowered to the ground, a cut-start system neatly slices the film and secures it for the start of the next wrapping cycle.
The optional end tip feature on the SBW8500 gently tips the wrapped bale when unloading so it sits on its end, making it ready for easier stacking.
The ability to store three rolls of plastic film on the machine allows the operator to be productive and stay in the field while it is time to wrap. The storage stays clear of machine operation but provides easy access when it is time to reload.
